These covers are important as it will draw attention to your highlights and thus your important information. By covers, I mean the picture you see in the circle icon under the profile’s bio. Seems pretty simple, right? Well, with most things, you can customize or design the covers for your highlights. This is different than a typical story which expires or deletes after 24 hours. By adding your story to a new or existing highlight, it will keep your story visible in that highlight until you remove. This will either create a new highlight (which you can name) or it will add to an existing highlight. You can add to or create these highlights by adding to your Instagram story as you usually would and then click on the “add to highlight” option on the bottom right of your story.
When you click on someone’s (or your own) profile, you’ll probably see a series of circle icons under their bio. Now one of the more lesser know aspects to Instagram are the highlights. With a little research and inspiration, anyone can master Instagram. This can be stressful or overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. However, social media, and in particular Instagram, is always changing and evolving. Everyone knows how important social media is for all businesses, but especially for small, growing businesses.
